The Cora J. Belden Library is now an official Northstar Digital Literacy location!
Northstar Digital Literacy is a great online resources where you can take online classes on many technology related topics, such as Basic Computer Skills, Email, Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Career Search Skills, and more.
Having built your new skills, you can then take online assessments which will provide a certificate and / or a digital badge to certify that you are qualified to pursue more advanced training, certifications, or career pathways elsewhere.
While assessments can be taken independently, in order to receive a certificate for completing an assessment, you must complete it while a library staff member is proctoring the exam, either in person or remotely. Please contact the Information Desk at 860-258-7623 in order to schedule a time to take a proctored exam.
