The Rocky Hill Library is running an art contest to select a limited-edition design for our library cards! Participants are encouraged to submit their best designs highlighting what they enjoy about the Rocky Hill Library and its services.
The winner’s artwork will be featured on a new limited-edition library card available in January 2025. The winner will be notified and recognized in the December 2024 & January 2025 newsletters.
Entry Criteria
Entry Instructions
Fill out the Entry Form document and remember to sign the “artist’s release” waiver. Use the Contest Design Template in the form to create your artwork. Digital artwork can also be attached along with this entry form, as long as it meets the required specifications (digital artwork must be high resolution–at least 300 dpi–and in .pdf, .jpg or .png form).
All designs must stay within the dimensions of the library card and keychain with 0.125” space away from the borders and keychain circle. The actual card dimensions are 3.375” x 2.125”, and the keychain measures 2.625” x 1.125”.
Physical entries can be dropped off at the Rocky Hill Library Information Desk and digital entries can be submitted via e-mail to corajbelden02@gmail.com by Saturday, November 30, 2024.
Artwork will be judged blindly in the first round by library staff based on the design originality and how it reflects the Rocky Hill Library and greater community. The top 5 designs will continue to a second round of judging by all library staff.
